Therapy Can Be Helpful

We all experience times of difficulty in our lives, when events or relationships feel overwhelming, or we can feel a loss of direction or purpose.

Through our experiences, we may have in place our own coping mechanisms or resources, like talking to family members, friends, or a trusted significant other. However, there are times when it may prove too much to turn to your close support system to ask for help when faced with life’s challenging experiences.

Some of these experiences may relate to our current day-to-day events, or to the role/s we are responsible for in either our professional or personal lives. Other times, these difficult experiences could relate to our past formative or adolescent years.

This is where therapy can be helpful, by having someone by your side who is a trained professional can be a beneficial addition in supporting you to make sense of the challenging times, as well as helping you to have the clarity you may need to see a way through them. In my practice, I can offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings.

By working collaboratively, I can help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the difficult situations you are experiencing. This approach can enhance personal growth, self-acceptance as well as revealing positive qualities and attributes. Whilst also, leaving you feeling empowered and in control of your own healing journey.

Speak in Confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Trouble with an addiction, stress, relationship; anxiety, panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
